DevOps Engineer
Summary
Job Description
In the role of DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for process engineering challenges to streamline our execution and ensure continuity of our critical server infrastructure. You will be responsible for the administration and performance of a Linux development server. You will also be responsible for maintaining the CI/CD infrastructure for our software code repositories. Lastly, you may also work on the development of indicator dashboards.
Primary Skill: Linux server administration, experienced in CI/CD process with high proficiency of Python, JSON, Curl command.
Maintain Linux servers includes disk spaces and user management, keep server uptime and ensure server good health.
Develop and deliver working python scripts to automate server administration work that aligns with server health and performance.
Develop and deliver workflow using CI/CD processes, pipeline schedules configuration with the UI and GitHub Actions. (Development would require understanding on Curl command, JSON, Java, Perl, so on)
Secondary Skill: Experienced and proficient in Python automation, Javascript, DAX and Power Query (M language) that is required in PowerBi report creation.
Develop and deliver working Python scripts to automate manual and repetitive work to support overall team’s execution.
Develop and deliver dashboard with PowerBi, Javascript that aligns with organization usage and use cases.
Requirements – Education level, any language proficiency, specific or odd work hours etc:
o Bachelor degree or equivalent
o High Proficiency in Python, JSON, Javascript, Curl, DAX and Power Query (M Language). OOP (eg. C++) is a plus.
o Require to manage/fix linux server down time that is outside of Penang working hours. (The server is actively used by Folsom and Atlanta users)
