What Your Day Would Look Like
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis
- Create process models, such as flowcharts or diagrams, to visualize current and future business processes, identify areas for improvement, recommend process changes, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement process enhancements.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, and user stories. They ensure that all requirements and specifications are clearly documented and communicated to stakeholders and development teams.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business users, project managers, developers, and testers.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and support business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.
- Contribute to the testing phase of a project by developing test cases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating that the delivered solution meets the defined requirements.
Job Description
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to elicit and document business requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to understand the needs of the business and users.
- Translate business needs into clear and concise functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for optimization and enhancement.
- Document current state processes and workflows and propose future state improvements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency.
- Work closely with technical teams to design effective and feasible solutions that address business needs.
- Create functional specifications, wireframes, and mock-ups to communicate requirements to development teams.
- Ensure solutions align with business goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in project planning, scope definition, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues that could impact project success.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
- Serve as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication, manage expectations, and ensure a clear understanding of requirements and project status.
- Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to management and stakeholders.
- Plan and execute UAT activities to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
- Coordinate testing efforts, track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improving the user experience.
Additional Information
- 5+ years of working experience as a Business Analyst
- At least 2-3 full implementation cycles of projects
- Able to differentiate between interfaces and integration systems
- Strong understanding of business process modeling and analysis tools.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills in both Thai and English
- Project management skills and the ability to work within project timelines.
- Possess high-level managerial skills to handle projects, including issue management
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Application Design: SAs should possess the ability to design applications that align with business needs. This includes understanding user requirements, creating functional specifications, and designing user interfaces.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills in Thai and English
